Don't Let the Pigeon Run the Sewing Machine!

We recently bought my oldest two books that have quickly become some of our favorites: Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late by Mo Willems. He talks about the pigeon all the time and pretends to be him, complete with random yells of, "I have dreams, you know!" So while he napped on Sunday I whipped up a little stuffed pigeon to ride in his Little People school bus. I love making toys for him-- good or bad, you never have to doubt whether or not a child appreciates a gift, but thankfully he loved this one!
