shhhhh.
Anyway. So if you'll look to your right, you'll see the posts that are most popular. The very most popular post of all time is "You Might Be a Redneck Vampire If..." This fact both horrifies and pleases me.
But here are a few other posts I'm partial to:
- So far as reading and writing go, I thought this was a pretty decent list of ways to back up your work. I also maintain that Deb and I are lyrical geniuses. And oh my god, why am I reminding anyone this is here, but our "real young adult writing" RTW was pretty entertaining.
- This is the hardest post I've ever written, and the most rewarding.
- For crafty stuff, this collage of quilts makes me happy, and I like these little felt flowers. My boys still play with these funny face magnets, and no vampires were harmed in the making of these sparkly pumpkins.
- Dazzled and Confused. Sometimes I worry I've hit my blogging peak and this is it.
Road Trip Wednesday is a "Blog Carnival," where YA Highway's contributors post a weekly writing- or reading-related question and answer it on our own blogs. You can hop from destination to destination and get everybody's unique take on the topic.
We'd love for you to participate!

LOL. you have so many good posts it'd be hard to pick.
ReplyDeleteI love the redneck one and the dazzled and confused...
I also loved your first lines post from a while ago :)
hehe cheater.
ReplyDelete<3
I love allll your posts :)
I remember that post about why you stopped writing. So awesome. And I'm so happy to think that I had a little part in Redneck Twilight *wipes away tear*.
ReplyDeleteKate, I shared with you already how much I appreciated your post about why you stopped writing. I just thought I'd do it again. THANKS! :)
ReplyDeletegenius posts, all!
ReplyDeletealso, glad I didn't start RTW-ing until AFTER you shared actual writing from high school.... wouldn't have been pretty for me.
I'm still laughing over Dazzled and Confused. (Hubby and I just saw a midnight screening a few weeks ago.)And I love your post about why you stopped writing.
ReplyDeleteYou have so many great posts, I'm not sure how you picked so few. I also love the Acamdemic Vampire Discussion. And your post about being from OK sticks in my mind. :)
ReplyDeletehaha! It looks like you had more trouble choosing than I did. But to be fair, I don't think I could pick a favorite post of yours either :-) - except for maybe the one where I get a pretty bag!
ReplyDeleteI love pretty much all your posts, but I especially appreciate your most difficult post. Thanks for being so honest.
ReplyDeleteAlso: WHERE is the vampire graffiti post in this list? Sometimes when I'm feeling blue, I pull up that post and cackle to myself.
PS: how many times can I write "post" in a single blog comment? MANY TIMES, apparently. Postpostpost.
ReplyDeleteYou know how when someone describes your looks as "special" or "unique" you automatically take it to mean "ugly"?
ReplyDeleteThis is not the same thing: Your blog is extremely special and unique.
