Road Trip Wednesday: Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Kate Hart
This week, YA Highway wants to hear your favorite lines-- written by you, read recently, or both.

I'm still reading a lot for Refuge rewrites, including...

And speaking of rewrites, this is the new first line of "the book formerly known as Refuge but not yet officially retitled and possibly staying Refuge." Does it suck? Be honest. It might totally suck. I'm not at the objective stage yet. I'm in the nosebleed section where I can't even see that stage without a Jerry-tron.

These are a few of my favorite lines from After The Fall.

And giving me the strength to survive these rewrites is a copy of The Forest For The Trees, a Christmas gift from the BFF.

We want to hear your favorite lines -- come play along with YA Highway's Road Trip Wednesday!

  1. I really like the opening for Refuge! Was not expecting her to be covered in crows, of all things. And I love the poem/song (?) for After the Fall. Amazing :)

The silver spoon/plastic straw line from ATF is incredible, too. Strong enough to be a first line IMO!

And the first quote you listed, Momaday -- wow. Is it wrong that maybe I think Bill the Kid is hotter now that I read that? *ponders*
