This August, I'm starting a new chapter, as my former agent Michelle moves on to a career in teaching. While I hate to lose her, I'm so grateful to have had her as my advocate and friend for the last half decade, and I wish her all the happiness in the world. I'm also happy to share that I'm now signed on with Adriann Ranta, whose enthusiasm and smarts are just as on point, and I'm looking forward to working with her and the team at Wolf Literary.
Meanwhile, I'm finishing up edits on After the Fall, watching the first of my fellow Sweet Sixteens' ARCs make their way into the world, trying to house train a brand new puppy, and waiting for fall to sweep in with cooler temperatures and warmer colors. It's been a busy 2015 so far, and since August is the new January, here's my "year in review" retrospective.
icy hikes, contract signing, and a backyard buzzard
girls' trip to North Carolina, tour guide for Jay's Arkansas stop, tornado season, and successful surgery
Alt-J in OKC, annual spring fishing trip with the fam, and California dreamin' with some of my best girls
a little luck, Willie Nelson and Beck in Kansas City, and flowers blooming
a road trip out west, with a stop to watch old friends get hitched
summer scenes, a puppy at last
and a trip to Wisconsin for the inaugural Eaux Claires music festival
summer sunsets, treehouse press, and more puppy love
happy new year. here's to new beginnings.
